I have some cake ideas in my head. I have been searching google for awhile now trying to find pictures of this cake, but have been unsuccessful. I wish there was a site I could go to that would let me design my own cakes, but all the free ones that I have been to don't really let you go that. They are all very limited with what you can do and you pick from just a few idea/samples they have. Not really creating your own at all. I did find a program where you can and seems to be what I am looking for, but they want $60-80 for it (can't remember which one it was). Seriously? No way am I spending that much on some cake software! I found another site and you paid by the number of months you wanted it for. I think 1 month was $4.99 and at first I was like "NOPE!!", but after searching for an online thing without any luck I was ready to pay the $5 and get 1 month access....except now I can't find the link!!
I do have cake ideas on my computer, but I need to find a way to customize them and change colors, add stuff, etc. I am not a good artist by any means, but apparently I am going to have to try to design it on paper if I want to do this. Blah! Of course, a cake baker will listen to your ideas and draw up something, but I really don't want to keep them for hours while they draw up different cake looks so I can decide on which one I like best out of my ideas. Not to mention have to color in each cake so I can see the end product before placing order instead of just getting a pencil sketch and not knowing till day of wedding. So yes, I want to design my own and take the top 2-3 to the baker to get price quotes...
*sighs* Not giving up yet, have to figure something out!
